Pythagorean School of Medicine?

"I don't know what the patient's problem is, but I suspect it has something to do with triangles."

I'm also too jaded to not be a doctor yet. When watching the ethics lecture, the instructor asked "What authority would you consult for moral guidance?" and my first answer was "My lawyer."

ur not the only one who's getting more and more mercenary with time- in my small group, when faced with that case about the guy who would get a heart attack if you scared him, but he needed the scary test, i suggested giving him some xanax before explaining it to him...apparently this is a bit more mercenary than people would like...ok, so upon thinking about it, i see the problem with my suggestion (he wouldn't be coherent enough under the influence of that stuff to really answer properly)...but still...it kinda bothers me a bit...i would say i'm turning into you, but i think i've sort of passed you on this one haven't i...

I tend to hold onto the legal principles like a security blanket because it seems to make everyone's life easier. "Informed consent!"
